Updates
How Furrget finds a new version, and downloads and installs it when you say so.
Furrget looks for new versions on Mac and Windows, and asks before it downloads one.
- It checks 30 seconds after it opens, then every 6 hours, and again when your computer wakes. A check downloads nothing.
- When there is a new version, the sidebar says Version … is available with Download and Not now, the Settings gear gets a dot, and Settings › General and the menu bar or taskbar icon offer Download too.
- Download starts it. The sidebar shows Downloading version … with progress. Pressed during a recording, the download waits until the recording stops.
- Not now hides the card for that version. It stays in Settings › General, and the sidebar offers a newer version again when one comes out.
- When it is ready, choose Restart to update in the sidebar, the icon’s menu or Settings › General. It also installs the next time you quit Furrget. Restart is not offered while you record.

Settings › General shows your version and Check for updates. On a test build you get the newest test builds and releases; Furrget never moves you to an older version.
